Full Official Condensed Version (For Formal Documents & Global Release)
In 2026, amid deepening global urbanization, the world faces intertwined, escalating challenges—including climate disasters, public health emergencies, traffic congestion, rising vulnerabilities of disadvantaged groups, ecological pollution, and digital security threats—that undermine the sustainability of global socio-economic development. Both developed economies and emerging markets including China are facing shared opportunities and challenges in the urbanization process, making sustainable urban development a core shared priority for stakeholders worldwide, and calling for innovative, multilateral and multi-level dialogues to address global issues.

The World Cities Scientific Development Alliance (WCSDA) is an authoritative, neutral international non-governmental organization guided by the principles of equality, freedom, neutrality and science, and the overarching guideline of Seeking Peace, Seeking Cooperation, Seeking Harmony, Seeking Development. Our core mission is to work with governments, enterprises and social organizations across the globe to build harmonious, livable, resilient and sustainable modern cities..

1. Address core global urban challenges: Focus on mitigating war risks, poverty alleviation, disease prevention and control, urban pollution reduction, and new-type industrialization, while strengthening urban capacity in crisis management, disaster relief, emergency response and climate resilience.

2. Drive sustainable urban transformation: Leverage technological innovation and multilateral cooperation to advance low-carbon and ecological urban transition, urban-rural integrated development, urban environmental improvement, affordable housing, and energy conservation, supporting the delivery of the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.

3. Facilitate global collaboration: With our flagship annual event, the World Cities Scientific Development Forum, as the core, we build a global platform for urban governance experience sharing, advanced technology exchange, and bilateral cooperation to promote scientific management and prosperity of cities worldwide.

4. Promote inclusive civilization coexistence: We advance cross-regional and cross-cultural mutual learning, help global communities understand and respect the diversity of civilizations, and contribute to building a peaceful, harmonious world for all.
Adhering to the operating mechanism of voluntary and independent participation, free withdrawal, we welcome global partners to join us in advancing high-quality, sustainable urban development across the world.
